Salman Muhktar is a member of Corinthia Global Management’s North America Investment Committee. Salman has extensive experience in building and managing diverse portfolios of middle-market companies across multiple cycles as a principal investor these businesses for 20+ years. Prior to joining Corinthia in 2024, Salman served as the Head of Execution and Chair of the North America Investment Committee at Barings Global Private Finance. There he oversaw an investment team that underwrote, managed and monitored a diverse portfolio of middle-market leveraged loans on behalf of Barings Global Private Finance and other third-party institutional investors.

Salman joined Barings from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in 2019, where he was Head of Underwriting and Portfolio Management in the Credit Asset Financing Group. Prior to joining Bank of America, Salman worked at Antares Capital (fka GE Capital Sponsor Finance) as Managing Director, where he was responsible for structuring and executing syndicated and club leveraged transaction with a focus on middle-market companies. Salman holds a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Finance from Purdue University.
