Matt Carty is a Managing Director at Corinthia with over 15 years of experience as a principal investor in middle-market businesses, specialising in the UK market.

Previously, he held a similar role at Barings within the Global Private Finance team from 2017 onwards. Prior to this, Matt worked at RBS where he served as a Director in both the UK Middle Market Leveraged Finance team and the Complex & International Restructuring team, following earlier experience in PwC’s Corporate Finance division.

He holds a B.A. in Economics, Accounting & Financial Management with honours from the University of Sheffield and is a CFA Charterholder.
