Magnus Lilja is a Managing Director at Corinthia, focussing primarily on investments in the DACH as well as Nordic regions. Magnus has worked in Leveraged Finance for nearly 20 years and previously was a Managing Director at Barings Private Finance.

Prior to joining Barings, Magnus was Head of Leveraged Finance Germany at SEB, where he was pivotal to the growth of the business since 2011, which was primarily geared towards mid-market direct lending. Prior to that, Magnus was an Associate Director in the Leveraged Finance team at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he also gained experience from the restructuring department. Prior to joining RBS, Magnus was a Senior Associate at KPMG, performing financial due diligence. He graduated from Lund University with a M.S in International Business Administration. He is fluent in German, Swedish, English and Polish.
