Elizabeth Ball is the General Counsel and Head of Compliance at Corinthia Global Management.

Lizzie is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales with over 20 years of post-qualification legal experience. She has spent 15 years working in-house with asset managements on their legal infrastructure, compliance and operations, deal and fund structuring and legal execution. Lizzie has extensive experience of agreeing fund terms with investors and managing teams and advisors to execute successful closes of funds. She has undertaken board roles in both the UK and Luxembourg for private debt and venture debt funds and has a broad range of corporate governance experience. Lizzie was previously General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer at Growth Credit Partners and Chairman and General Counsel at Shard Credit Partners. Previously, Lizzie was Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at Barings and was a member of the Legal Senior Leadership team. She was responsible for legal oversight, deal execution and fund structuring for the high yield and special situations team. Lizzie has over ten years of buy-side special situations experience taking a leading role representing Barings on committees for special situations investments and portfolio restructurings.
