Brian Baldwin is the North American Head of Origination at Corinthia Global Management.

Brian has had an extensive career in private credit serving in various leadership roles including but not limited to capital markets, underwriting, workouts and origination. Brian’s most recent leadership role was as a Managing Director, Investment Committee Member and Head of Originations and Capital Markets at Barings from 2012 to 2024. Prior to Barings, Brian served as a Managing Director at Harbour Group from 2010 to 2012 and, concurrently, as a Board Member, Director and Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee of 1st Farm Credit Services from 2010 to 2014. Brian worked as a Managing Director at Freeport Financial from 2005 to 2009. Prior to Freeport, Brian was a Managing Director at GE Capital after it’s merger with Heller Financial which Brian had joined in 1998. Finally, Brian began his career as a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton LLP in 1994 and then moved on to become a Controller and Investment Associate at PPM America, Inc. in 1996.

Brian holds a B.S. from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
